Now calculate the Solution

Steps of calculation

1- Length of bottom bar /main bar

2- Weight of bottom bar/main bar

3- Length of top long bar/distribution bar

4- Weight of the top long bar/distribution bar

5- Length of the side bar

6- Weight of the side bar

Calculation

Length of bottom bar /main bar/Short Bar

 

Cutting length of the bottom =width – 2 C.C+2Bends

Cutting length of the bottom =1.870-2 (75)+2(20d)

Cutting length of the bottom =1.870-150+2(20×16)=2.360m

Number of the bottom bar

Number of the bottom bar=length/total spacing+1

Number of the bottom bar=7500/150+1=51nos

Total Length

Total Length=Numbers of the bar × Cutting Length of one bar

Total Length=51 ×  2.360=1203.6m

Weight

Weight = D²/162×Total Length

Weight = 16²/162 × 1203.6=1901.98kg=1902kg

NOTE

(length of main short bar and weight of main short bar bottom and top both same)

Total weight =short bottom bar + short top bar

Total weight bottom and top bar =1902+1902=3804kg

Length of the long bar

Cutting length of the long bar= length – 2 C.C +2 bends

Cutting length of the long bar=7500-2(150)+2(20d)

Cutting length of the long bar=7500-300+2(20×16)=6.560m

Numbers of the long bar

Numbers of the long bar = width/spacing+1

Numbers of the long bar=1870/150+1=13.46=14nos

Total Length

Total Length=Numbers of the bar × Cutting Length of the one bar

Total Length= 14 × 6.560 =91.84m

Weight 

Weigth of long bar=D²/162 ×Total length of the long bar

Weigth of long bar=16²/162 × 91.84=145.13=146kg

NOTE

(length of long bar and weight of long  bar bottom and top both same)

Total weight of the long bar=long bar bottom + long bar top

Total weight of the long bar= 146+146=292kg

Total weight of 16mm bar in duct bank=292+1902=2194kg

Length of the side bar

Cutting Length of the side bar=length of the duct bank side -2C.C

Cutting  Length of the side bar =7500-2(150)=7200=7.200m

Numbers of the side bars

Numbers of the side bars=1 left side and 1 right side=2

Total length

Total length=Number × cutting length of the one bar

Total length=2  ×  7200=14400=14.400m

Weigth 

Weight of the side bar = D²/162 × total length of the side bar

Weight of the side bar =12²/162 × 14.400=12.799=13KG
