What Is The Column?

Cutting length= footing and column height – C.C(footing + column) -2 (dia footing bottom bar)+2bends (bottom and top)

Cutting length= 2300-(75+50) – 2(16)+(18Ɨ16+10Ɨ16)Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  (bottom and top bends = 18d+10d )

Cutting length=2300-125-32+(288+160)=2591mm=2.591m

Number of Vertical bars

Number of vertical bar=8nos

The total length of the Vertical bar

Total lenght= Number of bars Ɨ cutting length

Total lenght= 8 Ɨ 2.591=20.728m

Weight of the Vertical bar

Weight= DĀ²/162 Ɨ total length of the vertical bar

Weight= 16Ā²/162 Ɨ 20.728=32.755kg=33kg

Length of the Rectangle Stirrups

Cutting length of Rectangle Stirrups= 4sides of 500 -4 c.c + 2bends

Cutting length of Rectangle Stirrups=4(500)-4(50)+2(9d)

Cutting length of Rectangle Stirrups= 2000-200+2(9Ɨ10)=1980m=1.980m

Number of Rectangle Stirrups

Number of Rectangle Stirrups =Total Height /Spacing +1

Number of Rectangle Stirrups =2300/150+1= 16.33=17nos

Total Length of the Rectangle Stirrups

Total Length = Number of Rectangle Stirrups Ɨ Cutting length of one bar

Total Length = 17 Ɨ 1980 =33.600m

Weight of the Rectangle StirrupsĀ 

Weight=DĀ²/162 Ɨ Total length

Weight==10Ā²/162 Ɨ33.600=20.740kg=21KG

The total Weight of 16mm bar=33+62=95KG
