Cutting length of spiral bar/ring = L= n√c²+p²
n = number of the tern of spiral bar/ring
C = Circumference of the spiral bar/ring = πD
P = pitch of the spiral bar/ring
C = Circumference of the spiral bar/ring = πD= 3.14 x 4.5 = 14.13 foot
n = height of the spiral bar/ring /pitch of the spiral bar/ring = H/P
n= 17 / 2.5 =6.8foot
Now we put all value in the given formula
Cutting length of spiral bar/ring = L= n√c²+p²
Cutting length of spiral bar/ring = L = 6.8√(14.13)²+(2.5)²
Cutting length of spiral bar/ring = L = 6.8 √199.66+6.25
Cutting length of spiral bar/ring = L = 97.57foot
